I'm building a rugged NAS and am struggling to specify the disks as I have quite a demanding list of requirements. I'm hoping somebody can help please!
This is what I'm after:
1TB
SATA III / 6Gb/s
2.5"
Maximum 9.5mm thick (7mm OK, but unlikely)
7200rpm ideally (5400rpm acceptable in worst case)
Reasonable shock & vibration tolerance
Enterprise Class / 24x7 (Suitable for RAID)
Does such a beast exist??
