Hey guys,

I currently have the following RAM:

OCZ DDR3 GOLD XTC 6GB PC3-12800 (3X2GB)
Though only 4GB is working currently.

Im basically looking to upgrade with some new RAM blocks.

I use Photoshop and the adobe package A LOT, and often need to have 2,3 Adobe programs opened at the same time.

Other computer specs:
I7 2.67ghz
ATI Radeon 5800 series

Any suggestions on what to go with?

Just some additional info on computer spec (if it makes it easier to reply on)

My motherboard is the following:
ASUS P6X58D Premium, X58, Socket-1366 DDR3,
ATX, 2xSATA 6Gb/s, USB3.0, Firewire, 2xGbLAN, 3xPCI-Ex(2.0)x16

MY CPU:
Intel Core™ i7 Quad Processor i7-920 Quad Core, 2.66Ghz, Socket 1366, 8MB, 130W, Boxed w/fan

Waht ive been looking at so far is:
G.Skill Ripjaws Z Series 4 x 4 GB
and
Kingston HyperX Genesis 4 x 4 GB

But not sure if they will fit in my motherboard?

Both of the kits you are looking at will work, but are not ideal, since the X58 uses a triple channel memory architecture. You really need your RAM to be in groups of 3.

I would look at something like this.

I personally prefer Kingston over anything. But G-Skill and Corsair or both solid contenders as well.
