Will my HDD be ok when travelling?

I am going to be taking my computer over to my mams house, and its my custom-built desktop PC. She lives around 15 miles away from me, but I am worried about something breaking. Is this likely to happen? I was worried about the HDD though as I feel my GPU would be ok. Would anything happen to it? Would anything else break even if I held it very carefully?

As long as you can limit movements and vibrations and don't drive like "Mad Max", you should be fine. People have LAN parties all the time though they generally have more portable PC's.

should be fine. If you really want to be safe, you can wrap it with a bubble wrapper, and put in a box to avoid sudden hit.
