GA 970 UD3 AM3+ with AMD fx problem?

Hello, I will buy a GA 970 UD3 AM3+ and a FX 6300 AMD proc. but I've read that I will need to update the BIOS if I want to use the FX.
My questions are:

*Nowadays ALL the boards are updated and ready to use with the FX?

*I DON'T have any AMD proc. If needto update the BIOS what can I do? Will I be able to put the FX in the board, run the PC, enter BIOS and then update throught Q-flash or should I use another AMD supported by the board?

Hi,
If buying the rev 3.0, the CPU is supported without a BIOS update.
For older revisions, and supposing that the BIOS does not support the CPU, yes, an older/supported CPU is needed.
