bUZZING sound from power supply after gpu upgrade

core 2 duo e6750 2,66ghz
2x 2gb ddr3 1333mhz ram runing at 1066mhz
1xhdd
1x mem card reader
dvd/rw drive ,currently off
fan silencer with 2x fans on 7v and one at 5v ,and one on usb cable

and i guess it's capatitor noise, this is how it started ------ so today i tryed to connect this gpu like this,it ran fine,voltages droped to 11,40v lowest on loads,but after few hours of gaming now in game when its under load it emits some weird buzzing sound ,and when i press escape it immideately stops i guess psu is too weak for this,maybe it,s psu capatitor sound cant really tell..... and runs hoter than before but not dat hot to touch ....


so this means psu is too weak and causing this noise or just regular noice whitch means psu using full power ???

previous video card was gt220 1gb and had no buzzing sound....

with the increase in power needs (going from a GT220 to a GTS450) your "budget" PSU is creating a buzzing noise most likely from a bad coil. Rather common issue for a cheap PSU

so it's a sign of dying psu or just sign that it's using full power and bad quality coil allways makes this sound at full loads ???

should i get worried ? just dont wanna one day pushing power button hear the silence ,and fry mobo or gpu........

if you are looking at budget PSU check out some of these

antec neo eco or HCG 400w or 520w
OCZ modXstreme 500w or OCZ ZS 550w
Corsair CX 430w or 500

all are solid budget models and offer a better build (plus can actually deliver their power)

all of thoose four still mutch better quality than my current one,i dont need high end psu,i only need decent quality and with 6pin pcie ,cuz now strugling with spare molex and had connect fan silencer to same slot as one of the rails to gpu,this may be the problem why this sound appeared,i guess i take FSP and enjoy quet operation with no heat problem and buzzing sound on full loads,that would be enaugh for me....
