Is 6870 still a good card?

Will my 6870 1gb sapphire dual-fan edition be able to handle upcoming games like bf4,gtav etc. on medium-high settings in 900p resolution?

Since neither of those games have specs out yet, it is impossible to tell. I would upgrade to a better card because it is not the best card as it is, and it will only get worse further down the road. I would advise maybe selling your current one on ebay and using that to go towards a new card. If not, you will just have to pray and wait, you have picked some of the most demanding games to play and your card may not play nicely.
