Gpu incompatible with psu.

Hi, I just bought a 660ti and my I noticed that my psu doesn't include pci express pins and has lower watts than what the gpu needs and I bought a new psu but it fits on the gpu but not the motherboard is it possible that I use the old psu for normally but the new psu for the gpu only ? thanks
