Sapphire 7970 ghz vapor-x overclocking

so the max i can get mine to is 1125..anything else above that the games just crash...i can adjust the power limit..but not the core voltage..is there anyway i can push this card any further? the temps are still pretty cool

nvm now my "display driver stopped responding" on 1125....im crashing all over the place

You can't really increase the core frequency if you can't up the voltages as well. To alter the voltages you need to download a 3rd party overclocking software such as MSI Afterburner. Or your model could just be voltage locked...

thats what i am using but the core voltage isnt selectable..i guess they locked my card

There is an option in MSI to unlock the voltage tweak - its locked by default and have to go into settings and uncheck it... Just incase you weren't aware
