After I'd started up my computer, logged in and all that, I threw on a youtube video and after a minute or so, the video and audio started to slow down and the screen went black and I had to restart. I thought it may be a once-off glitch, restarted and everything seemed to be fine. I come home today, same thing happens exactly. Only my screens started going off and I saw that the nVidia driver was crashing and it started crashing repeatedly. I uninstalled and reinstalled the older driver which seems to be working now. Anyone else getting this? I really hope nVidia hasn't damaged my card. It's a 3GB 580GTX and it wasn't cheap and it's now a year outside of the warranty.

I just played a little Star Conflict which is hardly the most of demanding game and even though the frame rate counter on FRAPS remained in between 80-90, there were visible stuttering and stalling.

I really hope this isn't a revisit of that driver they released two years ago that actually killed GPUs.
