Old CPU compatibility with New GPU???

My friend is thinking of buying a new GPU (geforce gt 630). Got a low budget so cant replace his old rig with a new one.
System config:
CPU = Intel Dual core E2160
Mobo = Gigabyte G31M-S2
Ram = 1GB
He just found on game-debate.com that he cant play new games with that cpu though his GPU meets the requirement. So is it worth upgrading or he should go with a gt 210 or 610

go with gt 630.it is fine for that and fullly compaitable.he need to updrade ram also,get 2gb ram more for gaming

hi i am his friend can gt630 can run cod bo2 and mw3??? as i saw on game debate my processor having red cross for that games..!! please help

it will run call of duty mw 3 easily while cod bo2 at low-med.donot wrry game will run 100%
