I recommend the ASRock because it has more SATA ports than the Intel and you get more bang for the buck. At the discount price it is a real buy, and the feedback (4 eggs vs. 3) is better. I bought one for the grandkids in September and it runs like a champ.

The Intel board is also a solid option, but the ASRock is a much better buy.

unless you really want one of those boards the gigabyte z77x d3h or z77x ud3h are good boards to consider.
