Also, I have no idea what to get for a motherboard. I plan on gpu and cpu overclocking. Not by a lot, but enough for an extra boost but keeping temps under 60c

UPDATE:
i also live nowhere near a microcenter. Factor the extra $40 into the i5-3570k

So even if its like, the cheapest of the cheap z77 it will still do fine?
Any recommendations on the ram? The corsair vengeance was the cheapest 8 gigs i could find.

Something like the crucial ballistix would be good?

I plan on overclocking cpu to a max of 4.5 Ghz if that. I think running it at 4.2 should be plenty though.

As for the GPU, umm... Im not too sure yet. But I want to keep temps pretty low so i wont overclock too far

If I plug in my top 2, back fan, and front fan, and leave the bottom 80mm fans unplugged that will be okay then?

and you just do that by rotating the fan around to where instead of blowing air inward (intake) it blows it outward (exhaust) correct?
