Does this motherboard allow overclocking?

Hi there,

I'm starting to build my own computer and am going down the AMD route (maybe).

I plan to get the FX-6300 and have heard that it can perform very well when overclocked. Can anyone tell me if this motherboard allows the CPU to be overclocked?

Motherboard: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0

If it doesn't, a recommended one for around the same price would be much appreciated.

I'm very knew to this whole overclocking business, could someone tell me exactly how people overclock their machines and if it's something a beginner, like myself, should stay away from?

yes that mobo support OC RAM .. don't use it .. may better over budget will better and other option for same price support good oc is ASRock 970 EXTREME3
