Should i update my bios? Please Help

I have a samsung notebook NP550P5C-A08UK. It has a bad shared memory intel graphics card and i want to increase the amout of dedicated video RAM in the bios menu but that option was not there. So if i update the bios menu will that option be avaliable to me?

No. Don't flash the bios for this reason: you could end up with a dead motherboard, and laptop boards sometimes cost more than the value of a used laptop. A bios flash won't increase your available ram for video.
