Just about ready to build my first gaming PC, have researched quite a bit but still new to custom PC builds in general. Below is my intended spec, can I have your thoughts.

MOBO: Asus P8Z77-V PRO Motherboard
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K 3.50GHz (Ivy Bridge)
H-SINK: Noctua NH-D14-2011 Dual Radiator Cooler 
RAM: G.Skill RipJawsX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
GPU: Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 7970 GHz 3GB GDDR5
PSU: Corsair TX 750W V2 PSU - 80plus Bronze Certified
SSD: Crucial 128GB m4 SSD Solid State Hard Drive
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache
DVD: LG GH24NS95 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM

Everything checks out except for the D-14, there is a slight problem were it is meant for the 2011 socket, get the 1155 socket version. You are going to experience maxing out games for 1080p without a problem.

also, it doesnt really matter if you get the 2011 edition or not. noctua can send you a mounting kit for free. the benefit of the 2011 set is that it has pwm fans
