GTX Titans, Triple 1080p Monitors or 1 144Hz Monitor and 1 1080p monitor?

So I don'tr know whether to get Triple 1080p Monitors or 1 144Hz Monitor and 1 1080p monitor. I'm not sure which to go for, I've been searching in forums, some people saying 3x 1080 is the best, others saying not many games support it, but everyone who has a titan told me that titans are useless with 1 monitor.... so can anyone help me?

titans aren't useless with one monitor...its a question of what your willing to pay for performance. now 1080p is a little light for most people...but if your a filter and max setting fiend, you may disagree. i use 2 gtx 670's (which beat a single titan)@ 1080P but i am one of those individuals that can never have enough eye candy and filters. now if your running 1440p or better yet 1600p on a single monitor a titan quickly doesn't be come a waste...

question is how do you want to play your games...complete maxed and filtered, a titan might be what the doctor ordered...or do you want meduim setting or slightly better/less ok....a titan is overkill


note 2 gtx 670's is capable of crysis 3 very high (max) with MSAA 8x AF 16x 1080P @36-46 FPS.
