Msi big bang marshal black screen

I have an msi big bang marshal mother board with an nvidia gtx 580 gfx card. I had installed a game called hitman:silent assassin and was putting the graphics to high (of course) and when i pressed play the screen went completely black. I have restarted the pc, changed pci slot, changed graphics card to an older ati card without any results. This makes it seem like a problem with the mobo.
Does anyone have any ideas to what else i could try to find the solution to this problem?

Yes. I just cleaned them for dust

Then it might be a board issue. If you disconnect the monitor cable, does it show no signal?
Is there a case speaker (buzzer) attached to the mptherboard?

My mobo has a small led display on the board itself so that it runs a checkup of the hardware before it starts up and it showa AA when its done (meaning that everything is in order). The monitor is not on standby but is just black when the pc starts. And the "buzzer" is attached

Lol. I found a DVI/VGA adapter and an old vga cable and it runs fine.. Guess it was a bad cable.
