Hi,

i am new to overclocking and need your help.
I took many cpu-z images so you know my setup.
Also of the inside of my pc, so you can see the
CPU cooling that i use (silverstone) and so on...
I've never overclocked.

The mainboard FSBs are 1333/1066/800 MHz.
Further my 1st ram slot is empty, i use slot 2-4 with 2x2GB and 1x4GB of ddr2 ram. The 2nd heatsink is for the onboard GPU. The stock GPU sink was horrible and caused crashes so i had to fix it. I added the 2 big Noctua case fans eventhou i never had heating issues.
My dream goal would be 4xxx mhz.

Can someone please tell me what they think and what i need to do?

The best I've ever seen from an E8400 (my previous roommate had one) was 3.6GHz stable and he got to 3.8GHz with crashes. He never messed with the voltages (and for an inexperienced overclocker I would recommend you not either) so that was all accomplished by pushing the FSB. Depending on what motherboard you have you could get better results or worse, but 4GHz is in the "extreme" territory on that CPU.
