Replacing gpu fan

hi I have this gpu http://www.afox-corp.com/en/products_details.asp?proid=101 it is single slot and the temperature is really bothering me under load which 85 degrees Celsius. I'm planning to change the fan of it, can you suggest a good vga cooler for it? and is it a good move?

yeah. you werent supposed to buy these unless you are seriously space constrained. id doubt there is a aftermarket fan solution for that card as well. looks as if it uses a custom pcb

I'm space constrained that's why I bought one of these can you suggest a fan for this?

cant really. its a custom design.. you can probably take apart the card, reapply thermal paste, clean out dust and see what you can get out of that

Just buy a new cooler for like $40 and get better temps than you ever had before the fan failed. Plus a aftermarket cooler will make less noise.

If it uses the G92 style mount then almost Anything will fit that card and there are universal coolers that will mount on almost anything except for a few agp cards.

Any thing equal to or better than a Zalman VF900 will work on this card but will be dual slot.

@ Step last: You say 'space constrained' just to clarify, is there enough space to install a taller cooler? All of the aftermarket coolers will require at least two slots of space.
As an alternative: First remove and clean the existing cooler and replace the thermal compound with a premium grade material.
What case is it installed in? Perhaps you'll get improved results by adding a front or side mounted intake fan to improve airflow to the card cooler. A good test to see if limited airflow is a/the problem is to run the system with the side panel off and see how the temperatures respond.
