It'll work. You will still be able to game at 1920x1080 with the GTX 650... you may have to reduce some settings with extremely graphically demanding games, tho. I have its bigger brother, the GTX 650ti mated with an 'lowly' Athlon II X4 640 in my other machine. I can play Crysis 3 smoothly at HIGH @ 1080p.
