I'm having restart problems

I have my system slightly over clocked and I was playing a game and the PC randomly restarted. When I looked at the problem in the event viewer it said kernel power error. What kind of issue is this? OS or hardware?

It is usually the CPU voltage being used to support the overclock is either not high enough or left set on auto.
