i saw in some benchmarks that hd 7770 will get 36 fps in battlefield 3 in (1680x1050).

but i will get hd 7770 OC and my screen resolution is (1366x768).
will i get higher fps ?

will i get lags if i play with 30 fps ?

Personally I'd crap out a kidney trying to play a shooter at 30FPS, but some people don't care. An easy way to try is to download MSI Afterburner (assuming you already have a gaming machine and the 7770 is an upgrade) and set a global FPS limit of 30FPS, then go play some games.

Really for any FPS game its better to target 60FPS. Also that 36FPS at that resolution is probably at high with no AA, or similar. Resolution impacts performance alot, and at that resolution you could probably run high at 60FPS.

inb4 a truckload of wrong people saying humans cant see above 30.

i am playing battlefield bad company 2 with my card ( 9400 GT ) getting like 30 fps.
the game only lags when i make big explosion or a destroy big building.

i guess i will get like 40 fps in ultra when i play battlefield 3 with my screen resolution

I guess lag is a relative term. For me, if I'm below 50 FPS, I get nauseated. Turning feels sluggish, and aiming is harder. At 60 FPS I can play about 30-60mins before I start to feel nauseated, and it takes about 80+ FPS before I feel completely comfortable playing a FPS game.

While you might not feel nausea, headaches or eye strain like I do, but I bet you feel a bit of the sluggishness at 30 FPS compared if you were playing at 50+ FPS.

i can't deny that sometimes i feel sluggishness but i am comfortable with 30 fps because i never played at 50 fps
but i will get like 40 fps or more with hd 7770 OC and (1366x768)

all i care about is getting fun.... if i noticed big lags i will change the setting from ultra to high.

Do you think i would be able to play battlefield 4 at least in med or low ?

Overall, acceptable frame rates vary from person to person. Naturally, the higher the frame rate the better because when things starts to get intense on the screen you can get lag/stutter such as a large explosion. I prefer getting on average at least 40FPS and hopefully it does not dip below 30FPS. Generally not a problem on my desktop since the graphics card can always be upgraded. However, for my laptop it can be an issue.

If you could afford it, I would look towards a 7790. Looking at $150.00-$160.00 vs $120.00 to $140.00 for the 7770.

This would should put you at 50 fps or beyond for your situation. Might give a bit more life and better FPS for you.

I guess it might not be in your region. Not really sure if it got released outside of the States but your right in thinking that the 7770 should be at about 40-60 fps for your resolution.
