Just built a desktop with this card in it. I had been running the display from the onboard graphics, but I just connected it and the monitor seemed to prefer it to the onboard, since the monitor didn't get anything from the regular VGA plug. I swiched the VGA to the card, so currently the VGA cable in my monitor is plugged into the card via an adapter, and the monitor works fine (the only noticable difference being that with onboard I could reach screen res of 1920x1080, and now I can get only 1024x768. The device manager still doesn't see that it's there either...
The drivers that came with the disk say XP/Vista only and I'm running Windows 7, so I thought that might be the problem. I went to the site and there are 4 different things labeled Graphics Card Driver, most with multiple versions, and I don't know which one(s) I need. I also don't know if this is a driver problem or not.
Would any other information would be helpful?
