Is it possible, given the correct components (mobo, PSU, etc), to have four graphics card of the ASUS model HD7770-DCT-1GD5 on one motherboard. And if not this model are there any CrossfireX model's from the 7xxx series that allow four on one system.

also if it is impossible, could you explain why.

I would recomend this one as it looks to have the most clearence between all 4 slots I only looked a 5 or 6 but if you look at the rest there might be one better spaced apart idk...this one tho looks like it'd work just fine. But you'd need a monster case to handle all that like this case here...

I am doing a 3 way sli setup with 3 GTX680 cards...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121635 this is the card I use and it hogs 3 slots I had to give up my fourth slot so I cannot quad it...:/

Thank you Kfarris,
Would I need to use the crossfire bridges on the GPUs or would simply installing them on the motherboard enable them? The model I mentioned only shows one slot for a crossfire bridge.

Also if you removed the heat sinks and put a water block on them they'd fit no prob in any MOBO that had 4 slots for GPU's...

You would half to use the crossfire bridges for them to work and configure some stuff but I'm sure you could do it. You'll need a ribbon that is long and has 4 connectors if you look it up on Google I think you could find one...

Also when or if you do this I would not recommend connecting any monitors to another GPU besides the one in the first slot as you will get some errors and stuff...So if you do it only use one monitor or just hook up your display on the first GPU only I do not know if they ever fixed the issue or not...I believe it is why they made the dual ribbon cable is because the single one couldn't carry the load effectively or something like that...
I don't remember its been so long...But if you do it only hook up your display on the first GPU k? You can try the second one but I would avoid the 3rd and 4th...

Here go to this and read up on some crossfire x history you might learn something...:p

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMD_CrossFireX

I think this might explain the reason for why people avoid doing anything above 2 way with a single ribbon. With one ribbon cable doing 2 GPU's handles just fine but when you get to 3 and even 4 it becomes problem mattic or it was back in 09...people thought it was a drive issue or support issue of some sort or even a design flaw. But it was due to the lack of a second ribbon cable to help carry the load or something like that...Like I said it's been a long time I cannot remember the reason but I know you'll have some issues with it but nothing that you shouldn't be able to fix...
Just come back on the forms and I'll see what I can do...who knows maybe there is someone who knows what I'm trying to say and can explain better to you. But it'll work you just half to use the first GPU for your display setup the second one might work with out any errors or problems but I can almost guarantee the 3rd and 4th will error code you a lot or simply not work...if you attempt to hock up any displays to them.
