Intel Core i7 2600
XFX Radeon HD 7790
8GB RAM

I'm looking to upgrade my current computer, how well would this perform? Could i pull out a steady 60 fps on 1080p? Graphic setting don't really matter to me, as long as it's nothing ridiculously low.

Is the CPU strong or at least decent? I wouldn't really want to fiddle with that stuff.

More about : good computer perform

What is your current computer?

Just as a general rule of thumb, you want to put mroe into the graphics for video games. I'd probably drop to an i5 or fx-6300 and then run a 7870 XT or 7950 instead of a i7 and a 7790.

+1 more GPU is better for gaming, you have enough processor...it's not bleeding edge current, but it will run your games just fine.

I have a stock HP Pavilion. This computer has the Intel Core i7 2600. I'm looking to upgrade the graphics card, which is an Nvidia Geforce GT 530.

I think i'm gonna go with the XFX AMD Radeon HD 7850 as there's a pretty good deal on my local hardware store (Bioshock: Infinite + Crysis 3 + the card for just 190e). Both games i plan on buying, so this should work out. That would boil down to the specs being:

Intel Core i7 2600
XFX AMD Radeon HD 7850
8GB RAM

What do you think?

You're golden, and that card will be fine to do most anything you could think of doing in gaming...you wouldn't be able to run everything maxed out on ultra, but you'll be able to run anything at medium/high settings.

Check your power supply. Often HP and other prebuilt have low wattage power supplies and nice cards require more power.

Upgrading that as well, don't worry. Thank you too!
