Need advise on my Gaming PC build

Hi as the title explains i need advise.

Here are my specs:http://secure.newegg.com/Shopping/ShoppingCartPrintVersion.aspx

As you may have noticed i haven't included a monitor, the reason behind that is because i'm still in question about 3D and if it is truly worth it, And if it is i, what monitor do you suggest. I will also be needing to change my graphics card if 3D is worth it, i have been looking at the 680 and the 670. What card do you prefer and what model of that card.

All opinions are accepted, please share.

Thanks

  1. Could you maybe copy and paste the parts list, or take a screenshot? We can't view your shopping cart since it's tailored to your account.

A 3D monitor is basically any monitor that has a 120Hz refresh rate. You can view 3D or smoother 2D. If you have the money to spare, I would recommend it, but it isn't an essential upgrade.
  2. yeah I only see my shopping cart :P

3D is still mostly a gimmick IMO
  3. Oh shoot sorry, here is what i got. And movin back to the 3D i have been reading reviews and forum but i still cant decide, some people say its gimmicky and some say its awesome. Im torn :??:

  4. I would also add a cooler master hyper 212 evo to your build. Really helps with the overclock.
  5. Best answer
    3570k with 212 EVO
ASUS v LK which I prefer over the Extreme4 (better power delivery)
Blues are the same speed as blacks, just shorter warranty
    Cheaper but still fast SSD
    Cheaper but nice case
XFX seasonic made PSU, still modular
    Nice 1080p LED+IPS 5ms 23" 60hz
Cheaper faster ram that is still great quality

  6. Great so ill look into all you suggestion. Does you have any opinions on the 3D and if it is worth the extra change

See if you can find a store and go in to see some 3D game demo or something like that and decide for yourself.

I tried it and it was pretty meh IMO. Games need to be designed around 3D for best usage. Also don't like most 3D movies :P
