Okay so im gonna build my new budget gaming pc that can run most games on decent settings. Im not too sure about my motherboard working with the graphics card.
MOBO:ASRock 970 Extreme3 (Socket AM3+/AMD 970/DDR3/S-ATA 600/ATX)
http://www.custompc.ie/asrock-970-extreme3-socket-am3amd-970ddr3s-ata-600atx-122555-p.asp

GRAPHICS CARD: ASUS Radeon HD 7750 (1GB GDDR5/PCI Express 3.0/820MHz/4600MHz)
http://www.custompc.ie/asus-radeon-hd-7750-1gb-gddr5pci-express-30820mhz4600mhz-122950-p.asp

If you need more details ask!
Im not sure because the mobo is a 2.0 pci express but the graphics card is a 3.0.
(sorry if i don't make sense im new to building pc's and English isn't my number one language)

The newer graphic cards (including the 7750) are backward compatible. That means it will fit/run earlier versions of the PCI-e so there's no problem with that. The card will fit.

By the way... Are you planning to crossfire in the future? This motherboard will not be optimal for this since only one PCI-e slot will run x16 while the second will only run at x4... If you crossfire.. If not, no problem.

Dont crossfire low end card (BTW it means that you put 2 AMDs graphics in your PC). You will get worse preformance than before (longer 95th percentile). After 7750 wait for more money to come and get mainstream GPU and maybe CPU if yours is too bad (bottlenecking).
