I have this Dell Optiplex 755 with one VGA port. A boss in my company wants to have the regular monitor, mice, and Keyboard combo connected to the Optiplex but he also wants an LCD screen with its own keyboard, mice combo in another room connected to the same Optiplex 755 and being able to control the computer from two separate locations.

Is that even possible and do you guys know what I will have to purchase to get the job done?

You can purchase a VGA splitter. It essentially sends the video signal to 2 different monitors. Bare in mind, this requires a very very long VGA cable.

Wait, does he want to control the computer in two different rooms at the same time?

Not him, his boss. Not at the same time I don't think, but at two different locations he wants to be able to control.

@OP I recommend a laptop.

The question was directed at OP, so yeah I meant his boss. Personally, I don't see what kind of benefit or convenience there is to doing this, unless maybe he wants to set up a projector in a conference room or something similar?

@OP
I think it would be a waste of time and money trying to do what your boss wants to do.
Either leave it in one room, or simply buy a laptop. A portable computer system.
