I want to avoid bottleneck because i am planing to buy 7770

I want to buy radeon hd 7770 but i think my cpu will hold it back
My Spec:
CPU: Pentium 2.93 @ 3.0 GHz
Ram: 4 GiG DDR3
MoBo: AsRock G41
PSU: 350 w
i am planing to get Core i3 or is there any suggestion for amd CPU Price Range like Core i3 Because I have no idea about AMD CPUs
Please help me I want TO play Games Like BattleField 3 ,Sleeping Dogs ,Max Payne 3 And please make it quick and that is my first thread in this forum or any other

You will need a new motherboard regardless of which CPU you go with. If I am not mistaken, that is a socket 775 motherboard. You will need a new power supply as well. What is your total budget?

My budget is 120 $ For the Gpu and i think the minimum PSU is 450 w right dont you think my p4 will be the bottleneck

do you have suggestion about the cpu . i prefer amd cpu ,i think they r much cheaper than intel and have good performance , new budget for the cpu about 100-120 $
(i found {amd phenom II x4 955 is it good cpu })

My full MoBo name is AsRock G41m-VS3 and it seem like i can go for core 2 quad or extreme but i think i would use core 2 quad and another thing does core 2 quad hold the gpu back and give suggestion for good gpu for the price

i suggest look for core 2 quad which have higher clock speeds like 2.8 ghz or 3.0ghz or more.

gpu would be hd 7850 is perfect

it may no bottlenck but may slight perform less in games like crysis 3 or metro 2033,but you will ablw to play games easily.

for how much money you are getting core 2 quad?
