Hello,
I have an old PC that I would like to upgrade but with the RAM I am finding difficulties.
Strangely the RAM is PC2100 (133 Mhz) but not PC133.
So how many Pins are there in my current RAM? (The voltage is 2.5V so yeah)
My mobo is an ECS p4s5a/dx+ : http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail.aspx?CategoryID=1&DetailID=39&DetailName=Feature&MenuID=24&LanID=0

The RAM that I am considering to buy is: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HIGH-DENSITY-1GB-PC2100-DDR266-PC2100-266MHZ-Memory-NON-ECC-184PIN-RAM-Desktop-/281049333059?pt=US_Memory_RAM_&hash=item416fd87d43

The Above RAM is PC2100 266Mhz. Will both of them work, do I have to remove the 133Mhz RAM? My current RAM Chip has 512MB and it is from Nanya Technology. Any help would be appricated. Thanks for viewing this thread.

Due to the operating system limitation, the actual memory size may be less than 4GB for the reservation for system usage under Windows® 32-bit OS.
For Windows® 64-bit OS with 64-bit CPU, there is no such limitation

Just make sure you put the right RAM in the Right colered slots.
