Gigabyte GTX 660 vs Radeon HD 7850

I would like to know which of the two cards above I should get. I currently have a GT 310 and would like a new card that will be good for up to two years. I'm not sure about the Radeon card, as I got a HD 7750 a couple of months ago, and the drivers caused all of my games to crash after about five minutes of play.

My budget is $230 max.

My problem is that with the 7750 I was getting crashes to desktop with all of the games on my computer. I don't want that to happen with the 7870.

Also, I don't want to pay an extra 30 dollars for ~5% increase in performance
