Best graphic card for 500$ ish

Hi guys so I'm looking to buy a new graphic card but I'm extremely torn between what to get. There are so many options, I'm looking to max out all current games and hopefully future for awhile. I'm running a 3770k asus sabertooth, 750w ps, 16gb ram. I'm willing to spend around 500$ before taxes I'd love any input, amd or nvidia whichever is the best choice
