Hi all, i have had a GTX 660 non ti for a while now and it has been great up until now. I have noticed that when playing BF3 i cannot get playable frame rates on ultra settings. It used to be fine before, in fact i cannot even play on high without frames dropping. It starts of well but within a few seconds playing the FPS drops.
I have a EVGA GTX 660 SC edition.
Should note that when playing the card does reach 100c
Thanks in advance

100c is way too high for any GPU. Is the fan working?

lol, 100c! that is indeed your problem. Check the fan as suggested above. also check the heatsink is attached properly and hasn't come loose. Hopefully you havn't actually cooked the gpu and it will work once you get the temps down. Also check the fan speed is coming up, set a custom fan profile with msi afterburner if you need to.

Your gpu is throttling, if it's really at 100c at load, some kepler gpus can bear under or at ~90c-95c, but at 100c, most of them will throttle(there can be some exceptions), and with some brand models the throttling can be at a lesser temperature than the one specified in the nvidia website(maximum temperature of the 660 gtx in nvidia website is 97c).
Check the fan if it's operational and the speed of it, if it's working, raise the fan speed manually with msi afterburner or evga precision, also check if there's a lot of dust in the card(in the cooling system).
If all fails, you might need to rma the card.
