Hey everyone, I am building my 2nd computer and would like to make It as beast as possible! For my build I would love to run Nvidia surround for my 3 monitors. I am trying to figure out what would be better the 670 4GB or a 680 2GB and I know 4GB would be better for 3 monitor gaming. But what Is the performance difference between the cards In FPS and other's? Also I will post my specs for the computer I am building could you tell me what you think? I am trying to make It future proof. Thanks!

Cooler Master HAF-X Full Size Case
Intel Core i7 3770k @ 3.4GHz (Stock)
ASUS Sabertooth Z77 LGA 1155
(Debating on a ASUS GTX 670 4GB vs a ASUS GTX 680 2GB)
Kingston 16GB DDR3 RAM 1600MHz
Cooler Master 950W Power Supply (Got higher power just Incase I want to SLI)
Corsair SP120 Quiet Fans
CPU Cooler Corsair H100

A GTX680 is just a higher binned 670 plus some extra CUDA cores, there is a minimal performance difference between the two. You can quite easily overclock a 670 to beyond stock 680 performance.

Go for the 670, or even better, a HD7970 Ghz. Radeon cards just perform better then Geforce when your at a high resolution.

Have a look at the 2560x1600 result, 10% performance difference between a 7970 Ghz and 680. 5760x1080 (which is three 1080p monitors) is double the amount of pixels.

But regardless of which you go for, you will need dual cards to get good performance at higher settings.
750W is enough for dual cards, and dont go for Coolermaster PSU's.

I would go for the 670 4gb, the 680 is better but 2gb its not enough for 3 monitor gaming, you would tun oit off vram and the frases will drop to 10fps so go for the 670
