Sapphire hd 7770 running poorly.

Hi there, i just brought my new sapphire HD 7770 ghz edition Oc GPU and it perform worse than the old asus eah 5670. (AC 3 for example, only 20fps on low settings ) It work only well with bioshock infinite. my psu is 500w and my motherboard is MA78lmt-US2H. Is it possible that my motherboard bios is too old? Or what would cause the problem?I have the newest drivers.

1)update your bios to latest

2)reinstall the drivers and get latest cataylist software

3)check the gpu temps

Isn't it too risky to update my motherboard bios? Woul you think that it is an usual problem? Could you tell me how could i do it without floppy drive? thank you.

you have gigabyte mobo so get @bios software and install bios through it

when you download bios there will be 3 files make sure you find imp file like Ma78.file this file you have to use with @bios software

I installed the new bios, the drivers, ccc, gpu temp around 40 c and still not working properly. Evene prototype is running around 30 fps.. Any more idea? =S

while playing games tell the usage of cpu by task mgr

I have an amd athlon II x4 640. bioshock infinite cpu usage : 34% - 55% RAM is around 50% ( 4gb dual channel ) Wonder why bioshock working with max graphics 720p on 60 fps... thanks for supporting me btw.

I'm using the highest settings. for ac3 its about 17fps while low settings are 20.

I hope not, but then it wouldn't be able to run Bioshock infinite, that's the weirdest part about it.

Hm. I reinstalled my whole OS, ac 3 still the same fps, but i've tried crysis 3 it is working in medium with 40-50fps..
