Monitor damage via liquid while cleaning

I am using ASUS LED monitor.
Recently I was using a cleaner to clean the viewing surface of the monitor.
I don't know how but a little but liquid went through the screen and made
a black looking area. I wanna know how to fix it. Or is it a permanent damage?

I would try and fix it before you go to the extent of RMA'ing it. The black spot could just be the pixels not receiving power since the water is shorting them out, remove the water and it will probably be fine.

One way would be to remove the front panel from the monitor, let it dry and then put it back on. But if you aren't willing (or just plain don't know how, I dont ) to remove that panel, you could try the rice trick on a larger scale. Lay the screen down, dump some rice on it, leave overnight and hope for the best.
