Depends on your motherboard. It isn't likely given you have a single core processor, but if you want to find out without opening the case, download CPU-Z or GPU-Z (google them, pretty easy to find), and it should tell you what kind of PCI slot you have. If you have a PCI-E x16, then you *might* be okay. You also need to check how much space you have to play with in your case and if your power supply (PSU) is beefy enough to handle the extra power draw from the new card.

The bigger problem is that no matter how strong your video card is, your singe-core CPU is going to bottleneck your performance.
