Hello, I have experience with upgrades and changing out parts, but otherwise 1st time build. PC will be used for word processing, spreadsheets, internet, no gaming, but I do use Adobe illustrator. I do need dual monitor capability and at least 5 usb ports. Will be considering future upgrades, especially monitors.

Purchase date: coming week
Budget: $700-800 before shipping
OS: have Windows 7 home premium
Location: USA
OC: No
Monitors: have a Viewsonic VA2226w and a HP S2031, resolution 1680 x1050
Peripherals: Microsoft laser mouse 6000, Dell keyboard, Seagate Freeagent HD 500GB, speakers
Upgrade reason: old dell, MB failures, poor power supply

I left you about $90 to work with for a case, that is really down to personal preference, some people like some cases, others like others.

Also I did add a GPU only because Adobe Illustrator does benefit from GPU acceleration, and since the card is CUDA, and Adobe supports CUDA acceleration it will benefit immensely from the GPU.
