Upgrading from a Gtx 550 ti and it was going to be to a either a pair of 660's in sli or a 670. However last night i saw a brand new condition msi 660 twin frozr oc on amazon for a measly $150 (shipping included). It also said that only 1 was available at that price. So i panicked and bought the card.

Now I know there are some cons when it comes to sli but my question, is the price I paid worth it compared to price/performance of the gtx 670?

No, some games have good scaling, some have bad. Best advice almost EVERYONE gives is buy the best 1 card you can now, and if you want price/performance check this out

the 7870 xt/le generally offers best price/performance because of it's cripppled tahiti. but go for a dual fan, i've bought a single and it's dreadful with sound, even with a gaming headset on it can be heard.

If you only want an nvidia card get the 670

nice link, according to it I paid the price of a 650 ti and got a 660... you may be right about getting a 670 though. having major second thoughts now

If the games you plan to play have good sli scaling then just get a second 600, but really you may aswell cancel the order and get a 670, it's about 5% slower than a 680 and personally i would get that over two 660's
