Hello, I am building a new rig (first one) and I am wondering which fans/cpu coolers to get? I'm going to have 16gb RAM, and intel i7 and an nvidia GTX 670 if any of that matters. This is my case:

And this is my PSU:

Let me know if anything in here is a bad choice?

Don't get that PSU. Stick with brands like Antec, XFX, Corsair, and Seasonic.

Also, if this is for gaming, I would recommend getting an i5 and 8gb RAM. The i7 offers nothing over an i5 in gaming terms and games use max 4gb (1 or 2 games use 6gb) RAM. 8gb is the sweet spot.

As far as fans go, it comes with i exhaust fan. All you really need is one intake fan for the front, and one exhaust for the top(optional).

For the CPU cooler, look at the coolermaster hyper 212 evo.

So your saying the case is good the way it is (I don't need to put in any extra fans)?

I don't believe that case has a front intake fan. Newegg said it has only the rear exhaust fan. Is this not true?

Also, it is partially for gaming but it's mainly for rendering/editing video.

Yes, I guess so. Does it look like it has a slot for a front fan?

I would get a different case. Many good quality cases can be had for this price with a front intake and a rear exhaust fan.

I have that case. It comes with 3 fans: top-exhaust, front-intake, rear-exhaust.

I strongly recommend it over the case you selected.

Ok thanks on the case...... what about my CPU cooler? (If I even need one)

What is the budget for this PSU?

Thanks, I am planning on OCing, so I'll probably get that cooler. Thanks!

I don't know, what is the average price for a good 600-700W PSU?

Ram is pretty much just Ram. Get 1600mhz and you will be good. Be sure to get low profile style heat sinks if your ram has heat sinks.

They have tall heat sinks. I would go for something short. Sometimes they interfere with aftermarket coolers. In your case you should be fine, but its always better to be safe. I would say that RAM will work for you.

I would prefer something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
