Wondering if these new vishera processors are like the bulldozers? Is the fx-4300 an actual true quad core ? Not like the fx-4100 which i think it had two modules?

I need help, my choices are fx-4300 and phenom x4 965?

Compared the fx-4300 to phenom II cpus on anandtech cpu comparison and on single threaded cinebench vishera chips are only 200mhz slower than phenom II clock for clock.

If the 4300 is a true quad then i may get that. An overclock to 4.3-4.5ish is good enough for me.

Just need someone to clarify for me that these new FX chips dont use modules like the old bulldozers.

The 4300 is similar to the 4100 in that it has 4 cores in 2 modules. As long as it performs well in the tasks you'll be doing I don't see why the modular design would matter.
