Why Not? Because the Questions being asked in those two topics are almost the same as being asked in the Hardware topic.

Would be better to combine them into the Computer Hardware Section with their repsective titles.

Brands are under Electronics, because holistically, the brands don't necessarily constitute hardware or software, but rather entire systems. Since this wouldn't normally fit under the Systems category, it finds itself under Electronics.

As for Peripherals, well, there you have me. Peripherals will be moved to the Hardware section.

Computers are not classed as Electronics. There are no cpmputers for sale at an Electronics store except maybe in the UK and Ireland.

The previous TH design had the brands in small tabs together with the harware but thius new design is dreadfully incorrect and nobody is putting their threads in the correct topic.

There are quite a few computers for sale in the electronics stores in the U.S., Best Buy for one. We may consider changing where Brands end up at a later point, though.

How about a sub-Category called "Entire PC systems" under a Main Category called "Computers" to which the other PC related sub-categories would then be placed and Electronics would then house things like stereos, media centers, projectors, record players and anything that is not a computer.

Rather than diversifying into different fields like "Gardening" and "Cars" etc, you should stick with the one thing ie Computers" to which there is a wide a nd varied array of products and services to which even media & Home theater systems could be classed as a type of PC even though it is an electronc device, could be headed under Media Systems howeve, unless you actually know someone who could replay to such Questions, I doubt there would be many replies.

As for "Beyond The Keyboard", being a bit ignorant myself, I haven't actually had any interest in that Category and don't even know if there would be any interest at all.

You should consider to have PC retailers pay for advertising in a Category called "PC Advertising " with sub categories called "Gaming PC's", "Laptops" etc.. and not just limited to a certain country but many other countries applicable as well.

You should also consider having your own resellers market wher members can sell their PC wares online for a nominal fee say about $3 to $10 fee to advertise on your site, but only PC related products that could caould lay a disclimer from having no responsibility to said goods displayed or sold.

Basically, I think Tom's Hardware should be more PC focussed considering the recommendations placed on many PC hardware manufacturer sites (for example Asus).

Thanks for the feedback and recommendations. Will take them into consideration during the next categorical revamp.
