Screen issues when running 3 monitors

Hey all, i'm hoping I can get some help from you experts on this. I've been researching for a while, but can't find a good answer. I'm running two monitors off of my XFX Radeon 7850, and want to add a third. I have an active DP adapter, and can get all three running. However, the issue starts when i'm running multiple things at once. If i have a game open when running a movie on separate monitors, after a few minutes, all three screens will shut off, flicker, then finally come back on. It only lasts for maybe 10 seconds, but it's highly annoying, and when i'm playing a game that requires focus, 10 seconds can be a real hassle. Any ideas on what might be causing this? My specs are below.

Windows 7 64 Bit
ASUS M4A88T-M Motherboard
AMD Phenom II x4 970 3.5 GHz processor
8 Gigs DDR3 RAM
XFX Radeon 7850 2 GB DD Video Card
128 GB SSD
1000 W Kingwin PSU

Very odd ... what active adapter are you using? It almost sounds like your computer is losing signal to one monitor, flickers to go to two monitors, then finds the third one again and everything is ok.

Hmm. Interesting. Never thought of that. And actually, now that you mention it, I was just playing a game with only two monitors, and it still fritzed out. The only difference is, I had my second monitor in with my active DP adapter. I think that might be it. Good call mate, thanks!
