Looking to build a gaming computer and need help

Hi, I am looking to build a gaming computer that will last me a couple of years. I have little knowledge on computers but would love to learn more and would really like some help to get the right parts. I have a budget around a $1,000. I would like to play games like Minecraft, Battlefield 3 (and 4 when it comes out), Skyrim (with HD texture mods), bioshock infinite, and many more games on the highest quality with a good frame rate. I don't know why but i cant stand any frame rate issues and almost refuse to play anything that has less than 60fps as it just bothers me. I don't know if I am asking a lot but if someone could help me out with ideas or give me a build i would really appreciate it. Thanks, Marc.

As you can see, AMD processors and motherboards are cheaper but is weaker than the i5-3570k. But when it comes to gaming, the 7950 will destroy the 7850.
The 7850 is still a great gpu, i have one and it can run bioshock maxed out no problem. It's up to you to choose which one you want.
