Hello, im upgrading my pc and i was wondering what would be better, an intel i5-3570k? or an AMD FX-8350? for gaming.
I already have a AMD +3 mobo and im on a budget of about $500 so if i go AMD i will not have to buy a new mobo i also plan on getting the 7870 Myst Ed. for $229. So here is my problem, i would like to get as much stuff now as i can so i can finally complete my build. So i can go intel and get a desent mobo for around $100-$150 and the i5-3570k and wait later till i get enough money for the gpu. Or i could go full AMD and get the FX-8350 and the 7870 in one go.
I was wondering if i should just wait for till i get enough money for a new GPU (I have a 7770 now) and get the i5 (from what I'v seen its a better choice) or just go with the FX? I also have the Hyper Evo 212 cpu cooler and i plan on getting 2 noctua fans to put on the heatsink (so overclocking is an option).
I was also wondering what is a good non mini mobo for all these parts? (if i go AMD, i have the intel mobo picked out) Im in the AUS so i will be doing all my Buying of PCCG (http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php) or if you know another good aus site that ships i would love to hear about it.

FX-6300 BE,
G.Skill 16gb 1600ghz ram,
coolermaster 950w PSU,

AsRock 970DE3/U3S3 mobo.
