CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper TX3
Operating System: Microsoft® Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M LX V2
Memory: 4GB Corsair 1600mhz Vengeance (1x4GB)
Hard Drives: 500GB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s
Optical Drive: 22x DVD±RW DL S-ATA
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB
Sound card: Onboard 7.1 Audio
Case: Piano Black ATX
PSU: 500W Xigmatek
i have decided to upgrade and have now added another 4gb corsair 1600mhz, a nvidia gtx 660 and a xonar dg sound card.
however after installing the sound card i no longer have sound. so after some surfing i found that the 660 carries sound over hdmi. so i took out the soundcard, connected my pc via hdmi to my onkyo tx-sr309 amp but am still not getting any sound. sorry for the length of this but i hope someone can help thanks. with the xonar sound card i was trying to use optical output to the above amp
