Please check the following site and advise. My budget is $750. I'm also not interested in overclocking....Will be using the PC mostly for programming and gaming...actually gaming mostly :D  ... I live in India, but have used that site just to get the overview of the whole thing.... All help is appreciated. Thanx in advance...

I would swap that cpu for an amd one such as an fx 6300, 8150, or better yet, 8350. You would save some money that you could put towards a good motherboard for overclocking ( at least with the 6300 and 8150), and get better performance all around. However, since you don't want to overclock, I guess the locked i5 is fine.

You should get some 1600 MHz ram, it shouldn't change the cost by more than a few dollars, and try to get a single kit of 2x4gb ram, it is often cheaper that way.

Good choice on the gpu, it's the best price/performance ratio on the market currently.

You listed getting 8 sticks of RAM, but your motherboard only has 4 DIMM slots. Norlag is right that getting 2x4GB makes much more sense (it also provides room for upgrades in the future).

I'd recommend sticking with an Intel CPU, but you should spend the extra 8 bucks to get the i5-3470.

hey guys...thanx for the quick reply...is there really much diff with the 1333 Mhz RAM and the 1600 Mhz RAM? Also whats the diff between 6-7-8-9 CAS latency and 9-9-9 CAS latency?

Here in India, a 2x4GB is more expensive than 2 1x4GBs...thanx for replies again...and Edward please double check the number of RAM sticks(u said that it was 8 sticks of RAM, but its only 2 sticks of 4GB each)

Have updated it based on the CPU...thanx for that btw....hadn't seen it

Yes, it helps a lot. It's about 15% faster (not a 15% performance boost). You won't notice the difference in cas latency.
