Hey everyone looking to build a gaming PC, and photoshop/illustrator PC for myself, first one ever. I've looked around at parts, watched How To videos, and spoke with a friend about the parts im thinking of using. I want to know your opinions and if the parts i have selected will work with each other. I believe they do. Looking to go with a white colored PC. and maybe even turning it into a hackintosh. I'm kind of new to the terminology used in this type of stuff so be gentle lol. Not sure what else i will need...

Looks pretty good. Just a couple things:
1. I'm certainly no expert on video cards, but if you're looking to build a machine for gaming and photo editing, I'd go with a more well-known, reliable brand.
2. You really don't need the SSD. It can help a little bit for boot time of your computer but aside from that doesn't really do much. Scratch the SSD and either save the money or spend it somewhere else (e.g. a high-end monitor, a second video card for CrossFire/SLI, or towards my next suggestion).
3. 700W is a good amount for your system (600W would fit the bill as well), but you'll probably want a more reliable unit for your PSU--that is, look for something at least 80+ Bronze certified. You'd hate to have your PSU crash soon after purchase.

Apart from that, the build looks good. Also if you're doing photo work, particularly if you need to load photos from cameras, make sure to get a multi-card reader so you can read SD cards and such.

Thanks for the reply guys. Yeah my friend also me the PSU isn't too well. I was thinking of getting a corsair one, they seem to have a great reputation. And i've thought of getting this video card if not, an nVidia gtx 680. I'll think about the SSD, i don't want to deal with separating files and applications from SSD and HDD. Thanks for the help.

Corsair brand PSU's are fine, I wouldn't recommend the Builders series though, they're not a very good deal, they use cheap capacitors, and they don't deliver close to how much power it says on the box. The TX, GS, AX, any other of their PSU's are great.

Yea I would get the bundle too, that Rosewill is one of their good units, and its got the 80+ gold rating. I always liked their cases too, although I've never had one myself.

I understand that personal preferences are important, but the quality of the parts is what matters most. Also you can always get white stickers ;)
