Is there a way to set my account on Toms Hardware so that I'm ALWAYS logged in?

I like the ad free experience of being logged in, and because of my lifestyle I prefer to have little to no images in my internet experience, except for on very trusted websites.

I want to set my account so that whenever I come to the forums, i'm already logged in, without risk of seeing any imagery.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

P.S. I use chrome, I've set my browser to block all image content and plug-ins, but oddly enough an occasional ad slips through. I'm still trying to figure out why that happens, and believe me, I've looked through my content exceptions list.

Perhaps you can't, as the forum sessions will expire after a certain period of time(set by forum admins) for your inactive status.

Your session should normally persist for a very long time, although not strictly forever. However, it depends how you've got your browser configured to handle cookies.

I'm not sure how the system handles those cookies, but I've almost got to log in every time I visit the forums, and tomshardware.com is one of the startpages for chrome on both my work laptop and my gaming system at home. Also on the phone I mostly have to log in, but then again I don't use that much for toms hardware as it isn't very phone friendly at all.

Do you have 3rd party cookies blocked, or any anti-tracking plugins? Also, do you log in from tomshardware.com or tomshardware.com/forum?

Depends on when I notice I ain't logged in. Usually while posting a news comment.

ps took me almost two minutes to log in now from a lumia 920. Almost 30 secs to load the page (wifi, not 3g) and then I forgot to zoom in before clicking the flash thing and had to wait for reload.

Further optimization for mobile devices is high up on our priorities list for the next features developed. At some point, you'll hopefully be able to browse the forums comfortably regardless what device or resolution you are using.
