OCZ Vector vs Samsung 840Pro 128GB

I just read the Tom's Hardware article "Best SSDs For The Money: March 2013" and am pretty dead set on getting a high tier SSD. Main application will be for a gaming rig with a little bit of Adobe Photoshop & Premiere. I found the Samsung 840pro 128GB for $140 and the OCZ Vector 128GB for $150. OCZ Vector does come with a free Download of FarCry3. I know that the 840pro has a better reputation than the OCZ but is it a better deal to get the OCZ?

  1. From a hardware standpoint the Samsung is a better drive.
  2. I normally recommend Samsung because of their stellar track record.
